Installation and maintenance

Effortless usability for installation and maintenance

CAREL offers a complete ecosystem of tools and collaterals to support refrigeration technicians in every stage of their work: from when they arrive on site, to wiring/configuration through to day-to-day management.

Arrive on site prepared

The first objective is to ensure that the technician arrives on site already trained on the latest CAREL solutions. By scanning the QR code on the packaging and product labels you can immediately access dedicated support pages, download the CAREL apps, follow video training courses, read the latest documentation and carry out troubleshooting through simple and immediate tutorial videos. This reduces learning times, prevents misunderstandings and allows you to approach each new installation in a more informed manner.

Components available at all times

When you’re in the field, it’s extremely important to have all the components needed for installation on hand. CAREL kits simplify the approach to the most complex solutions, eliminating possible selection errors and ensuring complete compatibility between devices, sensors and accessories. The result is risk-free installation and greater operational efficiency from the outset.

Physical and digital technical support

CAREL provides both physical and digital support materials together with its products: quick guides as alternatives to complex manuals, troubleshooting videos, and FAQs to clarify the most common issues. This enables timely access to critical information, reducing downtime and service calls.

Guided setup and advanced maintenance

The Applica app makes setup simple and effective. The wizard guides technicians step-by-step through even less common applications, such as neutral zone or humidity management. Clear input and output diagrams reduce the risk of wiring errors, while exporting the documents in PDF format ensures that parameter lists and diagrams are available to be stored/associated with a specific system for future reference. Parameter import/export functions (including via NFC with the device powered-off) can be used to replicate the same setup on multiple units, reducing the time spent on-site and ensuring traceability. Advanced fine-tuning tools include real-time trends, customisable parameter lists, manual mode for quick tests, detailed alarm history, scheduler for automatic defrost management and ECO mode, with concrete benefits in terms of precision, reliability and energy efficiency.

Advanced monitoring (local and remote)

With the boss platform you can monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot the system both locally and remotely. Real-time or historical views allow clearer understanding of system performance, while advanced alarm management, with notifications and extensive histories, ensures improved troubleshooting. Remote parameter settings reduce the need to go on-site, while the advanced scheduler can be used to automate operations, adapting parameter values based on the time and season. Programmable and customisable reports help improve food safety and reduce waste.

Better end-user experience

CAREL strives to ensure end-user satisfaction. With the boss range, 24/7 monitoring and real-time notifications via email or Telegram ensure prompt service and therefore peace of mind. With the CONTROLLA app, the user can easily manage daily operations without running the risk of modifying delicate unit parameters, and can meet HACCP requirements through the temperature and humidity logs, displayed on intuitive graphs or exported as data.
