c.pCO mini

General characteristics
The c.pCO mini universal programmable controllers are designed for applications with limited space in the ventilation, chiller, rooftop, rack, close control and blast chiller markets.
They offer specific features to improve efficiency in HVAC/R systems, specifically:
- flexibility of use due to their compact size compared to the c.pCO (4 DIN modules) and the different product models (basic, enhanced, high end), available in panel or DIN rail mounting versions. All the models feature a USB port and universal I/O channels, with additional channels available through I/O expansions;
- built-in driver for controlling unipolar electronic expansion valves;
- connectivity through up to two FieldBus and BMS serial lines with configurable protocol (CAREL or Modbus®) and one USB port;
- networking via the built-in Ethernet interface (IPV6 ready), with a wide range of standard protocols available for local connectivity (web server via HTTP, Modbus TCP/UDP, BACnet IP/MSTP, FTP, FTPS, DHCP, DNS, mDNS, NTP).
c.pCO mini models are for programming using the c.suite or STone development environments.-
Plus
Compactness
Different versions available in terms of the number of I/Os, connectivity and unipolar electronic expansion valve driver option, all in just four DIN modules. Both DIN rail and panel mounting optimise space occupied in the application.
Programmability
Depending on the model, c.pCO mini can be programmed using the c.suite development environment or the new STone development environment.
Security
Cybersecurity is a priority, constantly guaranteed on the c.pCO mini controllers through periodic security assessments carried out by independent third parties. The STone-based models are designed in line with the IEC 62443 standard, integrating advanced features such as secure boot and digital signature with asymmetric encryption system.
I/O Flexibility
In addition to 6 relays, all c.pCO mini models have 10 universal I/O channels, allowing custom arrangements of inputs/outputs. Thanks to the CAREL proprietary ASIC chip, the universal channels can be configured independently as analogue inputs, digital inputs or analogue outputs.
Advanced connectivity
c.pCO mini, on the models where featured, has a built-in Ethernet port for connection to the tERA cloud platform without requiring additional gateways. The c.pCO mini models have up to two built-in serial interfaces (BMS and/or FieldBus) and a USB-C host port. Choice of a wide range of communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, CAREL, BACNet, Konnex, TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SNMP). STone-based models natively feature connection to CAREL apps.
