General characteristics
The pCONet card is used to interface the pCO Sistema to networks that use the BACnet MS/TP protocol (RS485) in HVAC applications.
BACnet is a communication protocol for building automation, based on the standards defined by US association ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers). These standards consequently allow manufacturers to develop BACnet devices and make these interoperable with one another in different systems. Implementation of the standards is verified at BTL laboratories (BACnet Testing Laboratories) operated by the BACnet association. The pCONet card has been successfully tested by BTL laboratories. The pCONet card is compatible with the entire range of pCOSistema controllers that feature a BMS card slot: Supernode, pCOXs, pCO1, pCO3, pCO5 Compact, pCO5, pCO5+.
