General characteristics
The RS485 BMS card is used to interface the pCO Sistema to networks that use the CAREL proprietary protocol or Modbus RTU protocol.
Modbus (modbus.org) is the most widely-used protocol in HVAC/R, being very simple to implement in all development packages and featuring limited use of the system's HW & SW resources. Reference website: Modbus.org.
The RS485 BMS card is compatible with the entire range of pCOSistema controllers that feature a BMS card slot: Supernode, pCOXs, pCO1, pCO3, pCO5 Compact, pCO5, pCO5+
